For example a Mars in Taurus and a Mars in Virgo are both Earth Mars. They will act in the same way: in according to a plan, with some kind of practicality in mind, but they will still have their differences. Even regarding energy, the Mars in Virgo is somewhat restless while Taurus Mars has a more chill vibe.

One person's actions helps the other do things more easier. The fact that there is a a difference between them gives a similar vibe of completion and betterment as the opposition.
Lets say one person has a Mars in Virgo and the other has Mars in Scorpio. Mars in Virgo will want to take action only when it has all the information and details and in accordance with a plan. Mars in Scorpio will intuitively feel and scan his surroundings before acting. They are kind of similar in how they act but one uses intellect and one uses emotions as the blueprint. The square between two people's Mars shows friction when trying to combine forces. With the square, we notice immediately that the other is different, because a feeling of tension appears. This is considered a volatile aspect, Mars already being a violent aggressive planet. On top of that, if we add the square, a friction aspect, it will increase the possibility of aggression. The least dangerous is the square formed in Mutable signs, because these guys like to adapt. A Mars in Sagittarius will have an enthusiastic and spontaneous way of acting. Meanwhile Mars in Virgo wants to meticulously plan before doing anything and could be quite annoyed with Sagittarius Mars. If you think about it, these two can learn from each other. In this scenario this is pretty easy because they are both Mutable signs which are known to be adaptable, and because both are concerned with knowledge.
These two people may have different ambitions that clash with each other. Giving the other independence to act is crucial. When things get heated, these two should take a time out.
